I am a teacher, I have always been a teacher and I always will be a teacher.  It is what I do best.  I have taught for nearly 28 years.  Yikes, that number is scary.  I started my career teaching in a private school for the developmentally disabled.  It was challenging but students showed little progress.  After 6 years I became the Resource Specialist in a K-6 elementary school.  Then to a position teaching a Special Day class of 12 emotionally and academically challenged 4th, 5th and 6th graders.  From there I felt I needed to find out what “normal” kids were like.  So I moved to a new school district where I had a chance to teach in a “typical” classroom.  I have been teaching 4th and 5th grades for the past 12 years.  “Normal”? What’s that?

I absolutely love being a teacher, it is my life. (was my life)

NEWS FLASH………

I am now retired. YES! RETIRED!

Miss the kiddies but can’t believe how busy I am with other projects.
