My Art

After graduating with a degree in Art and a teaching credential for Art and another one for Science, I went right into teaching.  But I didn’t teach art per se.

I began teaching in a private school for the Developmentally Disabled. That lasted for 10 years.

I changed to a public elementary school and began teaching at the 5th grade level.  Within this varied curricula I finally got to teach some art.

After retiring from teaching I am finally able to do art for ME.  

I went out and bought lots of art supplies and started experimenting with different media.  All my technical skills were long gone from when I was in college so I had to relearn them all.

I will use this site to share some of my recent work.
